HERPETOLOGICAL SOCIETIES & CLUBS

An international listing

Introduction

The following is a list of herpetological societies and clubs from around the world. They vary from heavyweight scientifically-orientated bodies to local clubs with a few members who have an interest in certain reptiles or amphibians. Initially much of the information was gathered from issues of the European herpetological magazine Reptilia, but also much has since come via the Web.

This is by no means a complete listing, and I am aware that there are many groups in the US in particular. If you are a member of a national group and would like to be listed here, please let us know. Please be aware that contact details for societies may change over time.
