Found in rocky habitat: see Bauer & Sadlier for details. Scalation details: body scales very small, smooth, in 68-70 rows at midbody and 158-157 paravertebral scale rows. Coloration: overall dark, with pattern of pale, olive-grey and dark centred ocelli, obscured anteriorly; ventrally white with reticulate markings; dorsal surface of tail with regular pattern of broad dark and narrow pale alternating crossbands.
