Trinidad, French Guiana, Brazil; poss. Suriname and Guyana

TL 13cm

Found along the Atlantic coast [Peters & Donoso-Barros]. Scalation count: midbody 24. Other: snout rounded, feebly projecting; eye distinguishable; tail as long as broad, ending in a spine. Coloration: brown or black; snout and end of tail yellowish [SOURCE: Boulenger].
