Periodical Index - Thamnophis (Garter- and Ribbon Snakes)

A guide to garter- and ribbon snake articles appearing in herpetogical periodicals over the past few years

The following index is a fairly comprehensive (though not exhaustive) list of articles concerning garter and ribbon snakes (Thamnophis species) from herpetological hobbyist literature over the past two decades (and further, if one counts Sauria articles). Given their popularity and reasonable ease of captive maintenance, it is perhaps surprising that there is not more listed here. However, some issues of some magazines have been devoted mostly or entirely to Thamnophis, eg Draco 25, Reptilia 12.
