This section really compliments the sections on Russia, Eastern Europe and Military History, and will include books that are either too broad for or totally outside those sections. Thus books on Byzantium may include elements of military history and dealings with Russia and Eastern Europe, but also have something to say about the Empire's economics.
This will be an occasionally updated section, but I hope readers will find some items of interest.
