Introduction

A monotypic genus found in Western Australia and Northern Territory.

C. aurita  Gravel Dragon  Australia (Northern Territory and Western Australia)  ?? SVL  Found on stony soils with spinifex, mainly in the arid interior of its range. Its squat shape and coloration resemble the "gibber" stones of the area. Scalation details: 16-20 supralabials form distinct fringe on upper lip; dorsally scattered enlarged tubercles. Other: 10-18 preanal and femoral pores. Coloration: light reddish brick colour.
