Family Pyxicephalidae: Subfamily Cacosterninae

Introduction

The subfamily Cacosterninae contains 10 genera and over 60 species. In contrast to the subfamily Pyxicephalinae, the frogs of this subfamily are “small and slender” (AmphibiaWeb).
